The Rural Municipality of Whitehead offers discounts for pre-payment of taxes.  Beginning in January, a discount of 3% is applied to all payments received.  Each month, a reduction of 0.33% in discount is applied.  No discounts are given October through December.

Penalties on amounts left outstanding after October 31st are calculated and applied on the first day of each month at a rate 1.25% per month.
